ME

  • "ENFJs know and appreciate people. Like most NFs, (and Feelers in general), they are apt to neglect themselves and their own needs for the needs of others. They have thinner psychological boundaries than most, and are at risk for being hurt or even abused by less sensitive people. ENFJs often take on more of the burdens of others than they can bear."
This was the only ENFJ description that really fit me well. I love putting others above my needs and will do absolutely anything for anyone. However, I do often feel hurt by people and their carelessness. I also do take on way too many burdens and it usually will eventually put me over the edge.
  • "They want to both help and to be liked and admired by other people, on both an individual and a humanitarian level. This is rarely a problem for the ENFP, as they are outgoing and warm, and genuinely like people."
Almost all the ENFP descriptions sounded exactly like my personality. I love people and helping them in any way possible. I want to be liked, not necessarily admired, but liked for sure. I love people, so I want them to like me back.
  • "ENFPs do get distracted, especially if another interesting issue comes along. They also tend towards procrastination, and dislike performing small, uninteresting tasks."
I get distracted all the time. I can rarely sit somewhere for more than a half an hour doing the same thing. My distraction problem usually leads to procrastination because I find more interesting things to do. I hate busy work and small tasks. I believe they are a waste of time.
  • "ENFPs have what some call a "silly switch." They can be intellectual, serious, all business for a while, but whenever they get the chance, they flip that switch and become CAPTAIN WILDCHILD, the scourge of the swimming pool, ticklers par excellence."
I am either very serious or crazy depending on the situation. I love having fun with my friends and family and I do not care if people think I am crazy because who cares what they think as long as I am having a great time.
  • "ENFPs sometimes can be blindsided by their secondary Feeling function. Hasty decisions based on deeply felt values may boil over with unpredictable results."
I base most of my decisions off of how I feel and my beliefs and I do not like holding back my feelings. I usually would rather just blurt out what I think which does not always go over too well. But I think being authentically myself is important, so I should not have to hold everything in.
